For two decades, our family has been fortunate to travel to and rent at Sea Colony. We’ve enjoyed the incredible amenities, playing tennis and pickle ball, swimming at the many indoor and outdoor pools, and enjoying the private beach access. Now, we invite you to experience that same fun at our homes we like to call “Serving Sand”.

Bethany Beach is one of the last stretches of Delaware coast where natural dune grasses still hold the shoreline in the way they have for centuries. Our family has watched this landscape closely — and we feel a real obligation to keep it that way. Every choice at Serving Sand West, from the outdoor shower that rinses salt and sand before you enter, to the energy-efficient climate controls that reduce our draw on the grid, reflects that commitment.

We work alongside the Coastal Resources Program of the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and the Bethany-Fenwick Area Association, whose beach preservation efforts protect the very shoreline our guests come to enjoy. When you stay with us, you're part of that chain of care. We ask only that you leave the dunes as you found them — and we'll make sure everything else is waiting for you.
